Prudential has hired Diana Guzman as director of group ESG.
Based in Singapore, Guzman will work across the business to deliver on the company’s ESG strategy and commitments, maintain constructive dialogue with key stakeholders, and further embed the company’s ESG strategy for sustainable long-term value.
She will succeed Kerry Adams-Strump, who has held the role since 2020. Adams-Strump will remain in the group until the end of May to support the publication of the group’s 2022 ESG report and upcoming AGM.
Guzman will report to CFO James Turner, who said: “I’m delighted to welcome [Guzman] to the team as we continue to work towards the long-term success, resilience and health of the global community.”
Before joining Prudential, Guzman was the head of sustainable development investment partnership and development finance at the World Economic Forum. She was also in charge of a global carbon disclosure project.
